Chances are some of these titles have been mentioned previously - but I did not notice them listed.

Fox - The Chairman ('69) Nov.7

Warner's - Operation Crossbow ('65) Dec.19
The Illustrated Man ('69) Dec.19
Up Periscope! ('59) Dec.19
Band Of Angels ('57) Jan.30/07
The Arrangement ('69) Jan.30/07
Madame Currie ('43) Jan.30/07

Paramount - The Conformist ('70) Dec.5
My Geisha ('61) Dec.12



Any thoughts or comments on any of these films?

"The Chairman" is a nice "political" film. I like it & will buy it. "Operation Crossbow" is a favorite of mine & buying it will allow me to retire my LD version. I find the plot of "Band Of Angels" interesting & I've never been in a position to watch it, so that is a purchase to make. But the REAL gem is "Madame Curie", which is a great film with splendid acting & a film I love. It will be mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I also have a copy of Operation Crossbow on laserdisc as well as one of Madame Currie. I will probably keep them as the artwork, notes and photos on these gatefold editions are nicely done. The same will go for Some Came Running when it finally is released. I just can't completely let go of my laserdisc collection - some just look too nice. It will be great to finally see Flower Drum Song in widescreen - the p & s ld won't be missed!

I'll more than likely keep my "Madame Curie" LD too. Garson is just so great in that film!!
