XMSR today announced it's Q3 numbers, noting that it had added 285,000 new subscribers to XM Service.

XM had new programming initiatives start in Q3, including the Oprah Winfrey network.
XMSR had projected a larger-gain for Q3 due to new acquisitions, but XMSR notes that it will still lead the market through year end, and currently has a subscriber base of 7.2M.
XMSR did not include new rental contracts equalling 20,000 new subscriptions, as those subscriptions will be paid out and count in Q1/07.
