Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-3-2006

Hmmm. I thought October 3rd was the release date for the Warner Horror Legends box set? Has the date been changed, or did I somehow miss it on the front page here?

Nice! Thanks, Josh! That might push me over the top.

What's the word on the comparison between the original disc versus this new 3-disc presentation? Better transfer?

Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-3-2006

I'll be picking up TLM. The price is worth it for an obsessive Disney nut like me. Though I am quite disappointed in the release quality.

I also thought the original date was Oct. 3rd. Looks like next week will be a bigger week for me.

X3 and Little Mermaid for me. I'm debating the My Little Pony. I might just get it so I can send Mike the gown.

A quick happy birthday to RoundUp regular and neighbor, Ric Easton--who designs all that awesome custom cover artwork!

Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-3-2006

Apparently, the Planet of the Apes tv series was re-issued along with the new animated series. The new version is a much thinner package consisting of two slimpak cases (each housing 2 discs). It's also priced around $20.

13 left at my local Target at 9:45 p.m. after I bought one tonight. Dratted hype!

Re: Weekly RoundUp 10-3-2006

My Target only had two left. Both were dented in some areas. Took the one that had a few little dents on it but none on the front. For everyone it is not the one with the Stan Lee comic. I wasn't upset that it wasn't because I don't read comic a whole lot. I'm happy with what I got .
