Has anyone used karaoke in their theater?

I was invited to an Xmas party last Dec. and the people throwing the party had a karaoke machine. What a blast! Has anyone purchased a karaoke machine or built and/or used a laptop/desktop for karaoke?

I think I've found a new addiction, karaoke.
I've been going to this karaoke forum daily.

I recently purchased a pa system and will use a laptop to play MP3+Gs.
I think a karaoke system adds to the fun of a home theater.
I'm going to surprise some friends with karaoke after my next movie party.

Hope you surprise them with some adult beverages also!.. Everyone always sounds better after a few!...( at least they think they do)

Yes...always when us Pinoys gather. We have one of those "Magic Sing" mics with chips containing the songs.

Check out SingSong, it's karaoke on the PC and you can sing any song you want. Also it scores you as you sing. Here's the site:

If you call Rock Band on Xbox 360 then sure Im all for it.
