My only comments are that this is Kubrick's best work IMO. I love this movie, and hate just about everything else Stanley did.

No it isn't, it's about a drunk abusive father (according to King, the source of the story, it's based on a personal experiance he had while being a drunk father.) and "Mirror soundtracks" are little more than urban legends perpetuated by clever hippies.
