I'm trying to decide if im taking the one back that I bought Sunday at BB. Even with the coupons its $55 more and they are giving away a free titles with it.

Thats a great deal Jeff. Amazon with their 10% discount off of the Toshiba is $404 shipped. And you get 10% off any HD-DVD movies for a year I think?

Just to clarify Tim, the $404.38 price at Amazon doesn't include shipping since you're actually buying the player from a company called Electronics Expo. With shipping ($25.00) it comes to a total of $429.88. Right now the deal over at AVS is the best price you're likely to find on a new HD-A1.

When I got mine Doug, I got the free 3 month trial of Amazon Prime membership which includes free 2 day shipping. Has that changed now?

Amazon Prime shipping specials only apply to items actually shipped by Amazon.com. Third party sales, such as this deal with the HD-A1 from Electronics Expo, are not eligible.

You can always just order 3 HD DVDs and get the Amazon 10% discount for the year.
