Who has something to say - Emotiva LPA-1 - Page 2

Re: Who has something to say - Emotiva LPA-1

I have used the Boston Acoustics A7200, Carver A705x, Outlaw 755, Rotel (their older THX 5-channel model - don't remember the model number), Marantz MA500 monoblocks, Emotiva LPA-1, and now finally the Emotiva MPS-1.

I use the Anthem AVM30 for my pre/pro and could not be happier with the unit.

I am still enjoying mine and have no regrets here.

Re: Who has something to say - Emotiva LPA-1

I'm thinking of getting an LPA-1 paired with a Yammy RXV 663 as pre/pro. My only concern is that the former is not a true 7 channel amp. I do movies more than music so..would the split back channel at 50w be drawback or would I even notice the difference?

The MPS-1 would be better but at more than 3 times the price....I don't think I can swing that.
