I haven't heard even so much as a whisper of a rumor, so I doubt it's just around the corner. Having said that, I'd be on board for season sets since it's one of the most decent, non-offensive shows ever made and my kids love it.Gary "the Christmas episode where Lassie is hit by the car while saving a little girl still brings tears to my eyes" O.

Re: Any chance of Lassie coming to dvd?
Sony Wonder has already released a compilation and some individual discs (episode collections), so I'd be surprised if season sets were ever released but I hope, for the sake of fans of the show, that I'm wrong. I've also seen a few of the early episodes with Tommy Rettig on DVD that are alleged to be in the public domain. Here's a review of the Sony Wonder compilation:http://www.classicsondvd.com/lassieseries.htm

I always remembered watching Jeff's Collie (for obvious reasons) as a kid. It would be nice if these shows were preserved for future generations.
