Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
I miss Rachel.
They need to do a holiday themed RGX commercial where she's wearing one of those skimpy/naughty santa's little helper costumes like you'd find at Fredericks of Hollywood.
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
This is truly great:
I've always said there are two kinds of people in this world: those who sing along with Gladys, and those who sing with the Pips. I'm with the latter group.
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
I kind of tolerate the JCPenny commercials that are running now because they're using songs by the Weepies, albeit recut to accentuate the "buy stuff" angle. I love the Weepies and I'm glad they got the deal.
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
Did I imagine this commercial? No, because it was parodied on Beavis and Butt-Head. But, it's the one milk commercial I can't find on YouTube, and I wonder if anyone else remembers it and has maybe seen it online:
"Carrie Jacobs is a milk drinker. She gets a lot of attention. From me, she gets total attention."
On B&B, the above was followed by, "She took a restraining order out against me!"
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
I like that one, too, Thomas.
I've been trying to find a copy of a Bridgestone Tire commercial involving a hungry dog who gets frightened by a big bully dog and ends up inside a rolling tire--only to end up inside an empty butcher's shop! But I can't find it. It gives the feel of being in Italy.
Instead, I can only find this odd Bridgestone "dog ad":
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
It's not up on the YouTube, but I like that new rooftop Disaronno ad. The song is cool (Psapp's "Hi") and the girl(s) is/are hot. Not sure if those are really twins or just the same girl.

These series of ads by Geico are their best. Not only are they clever and funny but I actually learn something about the product. The Cavemen, while funny, don't really tell me about how good Geico is other than its easy and don't get me started about the gekko. My favorite is the one with Dan "In a World Where..." LaFontaine "...that announcer guy from the movies".
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
I may be in the minority, but I really like the freecreditreport.com ad where the guy is dressed as a pirate at a seafood restaurant... not quite sure why I like it so much.
Re: For something different: Commercials you actually like!
There's a great commercial running right now for Post's Raisin Bran Trail Mix Crunch cereal that involves a bloodhound getting his owner "up and at 'em"--even serving him breakfast in bed--all for a great payoff at the end.
But, I cannot find it on YouTube.
Thi: I like that one for the phone.
Here's the pirate in the restaurant for freecreditreport.com!
