New Feature

I have added a multi quote option to the forum. You will notice a htf_images_misc_mq_img_off.gif button next to the quote button. If you click on it it will change to a htf_images_misc_mq_img_on.gif button. For those posts that you want to quote say over several different posts you will go the post in question, click on the htf_images_misc_mq_img_off.gif button and then go to the next post you want to quote from and click on the htf_images_misc_mq_img_off.gif again. Then go to the post you want to reply to and click on the Post Reply button. The post reply window will have the posts quoted in the body of the message box. Edit them to contain only which you want to quote and then submit the thread. All of the previous quotes will be included in you post.

This is will not auto quote the last post in a thread by default in vBulletin.

As with anything if this becomes abused we will remove the feature from the forum so use this with constraint and limit the amount of the original messages you quote.

This is an example taken from a couple of posts in the forum.

Re: New Feature

Wow! Very cool, Parker! This will be very handy in a thread like my Weekly RoundUp where a bunch of people may ask different questions and I want to respond to them all in one post!

Weird, though, how it transfers over from thread-to-thread! Guess I have to go back to the post where I turned it on and turn it off or else every reply i post now will include that post as a quote!

Guess people should know they have to turn OFF the multi-quote feature after they use it or else they will get awfully confused...like me!

Re: New Feature

Once you have used it the posts that you marked to quote get turned back off.

Here's Brooklyn Bridge for comparison:

And London's Tower Bridge, which doesn't look like the Tower Bridge from above:
