Since Stern is on vacation this week I turned on OnA on 94wysp this am. I got to wondering if XM listeners had the long commercial breaks that the FM channels do??

Re: O-n-A, Commercials and XM
The XM feed of the live 6-9 portion of the show has the same break length, but not the same commercials. They have some XM spots, one or two advertiser spots, and then the remainder is filled with a few minutes of uncensored bits from previous shows. The 9-11:30 XM portion has very short breaks. The new replay schedule which started today cuts out the majority of the long breaks. The live show, which today ran from 6 - 11:45, was rebroadcast in only 4.5 hours and was great. They're calling it "O and A on Steroids"

Re: O-n-A, Commercials and XM
When O&A signed with CBS they got the use of their old tapes back. On XM, most of the FM commercial breaks are filled with best-of bits from the WNEW and WAAF days.
