"First unread post"

Does the new software allow implementation of the "first unread post" feature? That's been one of my favorite unique features here at HTF...

The little blue arrow before threads that are in bold accomplishes the same function. Please read the stickied thread at the top of this Feedback forum.

Actually the little blue arrow does not accomplish the same thing as "first unread post", the arrow only takes you to the last post in the thread, not the same thing.

whoops....when I'm wrong I'm wrong and I just realised that I was using the right pointing arrow next to posters names & not the downward pointing arrow at the front of the thread title, that indeed takes you to the first unread post. My bad.

Perhaps I'm missing a user definable option, but is there any way to highlight threads that one has previously been following? The old forum would show them as links in a different color (same as previously visited links in many webpages) but this doesn't happen in the new forum. Now I have to try to remember which threads were the interesting ones! I realize that if you have posted in a thread, you'll see the bent arrow on the envelope at the extreme left.

I find the place of the first unread post a little distracting compared to the old software. What everyone thinks about placing it after the subject line like the old times?
