It's a flash video, over 4 minutes long, but damn if it ain't an intriguing idea. It actually makes sense...sort of. The creator must be commended for his efforts, at the very least. He really went to town on this one!

lol! I don't think that movie would be half bad. I actually kinda want to see it. Too bad I can't. Who can name all the clips from other movies they used? I spotted (beside, obviously, Titanic), The Abyss, Con Air, Shawshank Redemption, The Fugitive, I think a couple others I recognised but couldn't think of the title.

Well, there were the obvious Leonardo films - Catch Me If You Can, Romeo + Juliet. I think the unfreezing scenes were from Austin Powers, but don't quote me.

But does anyone know what that "Titanic The Musical" footage was from?

In any case, it was amusing. Similar in concept (I think) to something they suggested in a "pitching the sequel" sketch on the MTV Movie Awards a few years ago, but still quite amusing and very well done.

I can't get this to play in my browser, but I'm guessing it was either footage of the performance of the Titanic musical from the Tony Awards that year or promotional footage for when the show was actually running.

There was some Basketball Diaries, some Demolition Man...

But the fact that there were custom-made scenes of Leo being 'thawed out', as well as the tombstone at the end..like I said, even if you don't like it, it was a good job.

Pretty slick trailer.

You're kidding. That was real? There was a real Titanic The Musical? I thought that was from a comedy movie - sort of like the Simpsons with the musical Planet of the Apes. It just seemed like such a stupid idea to actually be real.

I'm impressed. I also have to admit that I want to see the flick as well. Too bad it will never come about...but then again, maybe that's a good thing.

Also two clips from HULK with Sam Elliot and Jennifer Connelly.

Nicely edited trailer!

Too funny!

Titanic the Musical is very well done. My son's high school performing arts department put on a full blown production back in 2002, tilting set and everything. My son performed as the ship's designer, Mr. Andrews.

I remember seeing "Titanic: The Musical" in New York 7 or 8 years back. All I remember is alot of staging set around the boarding ramp.

Titanic the Musical was superb. It had some growing pains during previews but the score and book were just terrific. The underlying sense of impending doom in the song "Godspeed Titanic," sung as the ship left Southamption, was palpable in the theatres, both on Broadway and the touring version. The gangway set for the opening was not the most spectacular set; the three-deck-high set used for most of the show was great and the sinking well done. That first moment as passengers gather in the Grand Salon after the collision, when the tea table started rolling and everyone was suddenly silent, was chilling.

First sign of a worthless post. 10,500 views with only 20 or so responses, and now I'm contributing one. Wish I could take it back, but had to point out the math.

Seems to have been removed from both links......now I want to see it more than ever! Any other places it could be?
