Is anyone else having problems seeing most images on HTF? I can see the "Ads by Google" with no problems, and the smilies show up while I'm writing this. But all of the HTF hosted images are red-x's. This may be what TonyD was posting about in the other thread, but I couldn't be sure.

Practically all pages and all images seem broken for me, too. But, in a touch of almost unbelievable irony, this page with your post is the only one where I've seen images or ads fill in...
All in all, HTF seems to be basically broken. Seems like they applied one heck of a forum downgrade - maybe why fewer and fewer folks seem to be coming back???

The connection between the images server and our main servers went down yesterday for a few hours and when found to be a problem was fixed immediately.
What makes you say that? First of all our site is running just fine. We have not downgraded anything and we are actually having more and more people on the forum every day. When we have gone from an online average of just around 1,000 people at a time to 1,800 at a time I don't see that fewer people coming back.

Tim,
The entire staff here works very hard to
keep this forum a cut above the others. We
are doing quite well here, thank you. It
doesn't take much to see that our members
conduct themselves in a more respectful
manner to each other than you'll find
elsewhere.
When there are problems here -- and they
do occur -- we work very fast to fix them.
I have to admit, I found your remark
to be completely out of line. There's
absolutely no basis for such remarks.

Re: Most images broken?
...good job with the new forum format, and thanks for the xtra hours it all must [still] be taking. I hate change ...but looking good IMO.....I kiss your feet you are not going with the dank/dark spelunking effect: What is BLACK and BLUE and pinky red all over?...a migrane waiting to happen....I'm getting the red x'sss too. The issue seems to have resolved for others..I've been waiting quietly
