First time XM listener with a new Delphi SKYFi2 receiver

I picked up a Delphi SKYFi2 receiver which came with a complete car kit for $68.00 at my local Target. Hooked up everything and wanted some tips. I listen mostly to rock and metal. What are some good channels you guys can recommend. I'm also a baseball fan and can't wait to listen to the Yankees. I was never a huge free radio listener, always preferred my iPod in my truck. I hope I enjoy XM as much as some of you.

Hi Hank!

Welcome to XM radio! The SkyFi2 is a great
unit. If it's hardwired into the car there
is a modification you can do with it to enhance
sound quality. If you are using FM modulation,
then there is no modification.

I'm not a big listener of rock beyond classics,
but at a glance, channels 40-54 give you
the best variety of classic to modern rock.

I also understand Liquid Metal is either
coming back after a brief absence or already in
the line-up.

Thanks Ron. I tried to tune in Liquid Metal because I listened to it on the internet. The XM rep I spoke to said its coming on next week, I believe ch. 42.
