3.THE RAIDERS OF ATLANTIS (1983) *1/2


I was lucky enough to meet Deodato in person during the 2004 Venice Film Festival, where his notorious CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST was chosen to end the Italian B-movie retrospective! My brother and I were the only ones who had watched the film previously (dubbed in English and which we had hated originally, rating it a BOMB) and, after the showing, we and a few others stayed on to discuss the film (and his other work) with the director - at 02:30 a.m.!!
