the last week or so i'vee seen a ton of these.
making it more noticable to me is the threads i have email notices on.

just wondering about it is all.

I don't know, but I'm having trouble posting messages tonight. I'm connecting okay, able to read threads, but it just sits there for a long time when I hit send on a reply. I know to not try to hit reply again for fear of double posting, but I actually did stop and hit it again tonight and fortunately didn't double post.

You aren't the only one. I haven't had it happen to a post of mine but it sure is annoying when encountering it thread after thread. Any ideas?

I know what you mean, I had the same thing happen a couple days ago. The really bad part is, if it times out and doesn't post, you can't just hit back and try to repost, you lose what you typed. I actually highlighted and copied my post, (while it was stuck sending), and saved that in case the post didn't go thru, so I could send it later.

I've had this trouble the last couple of days. Using the Quick Reply feature, I've been getting "stuck" without the reply going through. I thought it might be me Internet connection, but everything else seemed fine.

I've been doing what was just mentioned above, copying the text I'd just written in the reply, and reloading the Forum. I've found that the Quick Reply doesn't seem to go anywhere, but the "Reply" button, which also gets you stuck, DOES send your post through, even though it just sits there.

I've called the Forum up in another IE brwoser window and could see that just using "Relpy", my post actually went through, though the original screen never finished its posting.

My guess is that people are hitting the "Submit" button in frustration, causing double posts.

Yep, the forum has been very slow and people are impatient.

We must have been having some network issues earlier as it was pretty widespread. The double and triple post occur when people get impatient for their post to go thru and post again.

Things seem to be better this evening.

i was looking at my email notices for this thread and the last one was a double notice for parker's last reply.

I've been noticing it all along. Parker. And its still seems like posting tonight is hanging and pretty darn slow.

Like people say...surfing the forum is moving fast...its just submitting the posts that's taking awhile.

Really odd stuff. I have emailed Jose about this. See if he has noticed anything.

Same here.

No problem with surfing.

Posting a reply has been taking forever (several minutes) and sometimes comes back with an error page. I thought it was my account at first, but after noticing all the double posts, it was clear that something was up.

Jose (our ISP) is going to try moving us over to another connection to see if things improve.

Looks like things are working better since we moved over to another connection.

Parker: Everything's been terrific! Surfing the site's been quick! And the posts are postin' right up! No long waits!
