Pixelation Issue

While watching the Grammys I would get some pixelation during performances that used strobes or any quickly flashing lights. I have noticed this while watching other shows as well, specifically with HD feeds. Basically, it looks like the screen is filled with a bunch of squares.

I have a Comcast HD box connected to my Mits WS65613 via component using the cables that Comcast supplied. What steps can I take to resolve this issue, or is it just an inherent problem with CRT based sets?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Compression artifacts probably.

that's most certainly what it is. It just means they didn't provide enough bandwidth for the amount of information that was needed. For the most part it should be a problem, it's just when there's fast moving motion that it makes more of an issue.

Thanks for the responses. After doing a little research I would have to agree its compression artifacts.

Thanks again - Tod
