My son-in-law and daughter are thinking of getting this one, 42 inch plasma, hd, anyone have an opinion of this one, we know it is entry level

one knock on this one is not good for analog signal, is ANY hd plasma good for analog signal?

i have a pioneer elite, amazing pic in HD but the analog signal is pretty bad, is there a plasma, not lcd set out there that excels in the analog signal?

Last, all tv signals must be

digital not high defiinition by yr 2009 or whatever, does this mean small town affiliates like we have dont have to go HD, just digital? if so, why would they ever invest the money for HD (in my lifetime anyway and I am 51) when they have no competition and dont have to, this is depresssing...

I would love to hear comments on this...
