Where has the DVD DETECTIVE gone?

There once was an excellent site (www.thedvdetective.com) that always carried the best in import dvd edition from around the world...

I have tried to reconnect and yet can't find this merchant anywhere...

Anyone out there have any ideas?

They've gone to "brick and mortar" sales for the moment, although the website may return at some point.

That's actually a completely different website/business and has no affiliation with www.thedvdetective.com.

They're message board is still up. The posts from the owners don't sound to optimistic about the website returning anytime soon. Here's the board address:DVD Detective board

In the meantime, I've switched over to using Drunken Master in LA. These guys also tour the west coast comic and sci-fi conventions. Very knowledgeable and good service. Here's their site, which they don't update too regularly. You're better off to give them a call.
