Well, I TRIED to vote in HTF 2005 DVD awards

Thread Starter
I thought that I was doing everything correctly, but I kept getting "invalid action" messages. One said something about not being authorized, and told me to log in again. So I did. Same result. This is the same kind of problem that I kept having a while back when they tried the upgrade that crashed their server or whatever that was.

Yes, I am a registered member of HTF and have been for over a year and a half. Something's wrong here folks. Now I know why there are so few replies in the totals, others must be having the same problems.

Try going to those forums via the "Forum Jump" combo button, rather than the link. Worked for me.

Dave,

One question....

Are you using AOL to access this forum?

Same problem for me, and yes, I'm using AOL.

There's something about AOL....

You are not the first complaint we
have had regarding AOL members not being
able to vote.

AOL has always been a thorn in our side.
Our emails through them get rejected and
there's always some sort of complication
for members wanting to interact with our
forum through their site.

I have already done this for someone --
and I can't do it for everyone -- but if
you send me an email with your USERNAME and
EMAIL ADDRESS along with all your picks in
each category I can go in and vote for you.

My email address is in my signature. Just
put TO RON: HTF VOTE in the subject line so
I can easily recognize it.

I am only offering to do this for Dave Bula
and Danny Burk at this time since they brought
this to my attention via this thread.

I am not using AOL, but IE. I got a message that I had to login, even though I was already logged into the forum.

Like Ron said. For some reason members with AOL accounts cannot vote in the polls with this software. We even had an admin that couldn't vote because of his aol.com email address.

John:

I am not sure why you are getting that error message as I can log on as you and post in a poll with no problem.
