I was having the same issues with mine so I added that sentence to my sig.
Yeah, I would know, because I was one of the people who asked you before you added the text. The question only comes up every few weeks, so I won't do it just yet.

She's also the girlfriend of Sasha Cohen AKA Ali G.
Huh? Sasha Cohen = Ali G?

Well, by strange coincidence there is this red-headed Sasha Cohen:

But to be clear it is Sacha Baron Cohen who is Ali G.

I suppose, but I think she usually has brown hair. Nonetheless, she's very, very cute.

Well, if Isla Fisher ever becomes involved with the red-headed Sasha Cohen, I want the video. :b

Oooo! I forgot about Joely Fisher but there's got to be a better photo of her.

EDIT: This one's pretty sweet:

I've always thought Vicki Lewis was oddly appealing, but Kathy Griffin does NOTHING for me.

Forgot about Amy Yasbeck. She is purty.

Marisa Coughlan, though I don't think she's usually red.

What some consider a "redhead" has me thinking their hair color is more of a light brown.

Well, my OP did say "auburn, red, orange"....so there's going to be some bleed over. A woman I work with is Latina, so you'd think her hair would be all black or very dark brown, but there are a lot of auburn highlights or streaks to it.

Also, considering how many times these women change their color, you have to wonder which ones are real reds.

I assume Diane Lane is a real red head:

I'm guessing very few. Some may be naturally auburn or reddish brown, but I think most get some help for the color.

Gillian Anderson, for example, is not, I'm pretty sure, a natural redhead. If you watch the first season of X-Files, it often looks nearly brown. In the last year, she's also gone blond (looked terrible, but also almost unrecognizable, which may have been the point) and I don't know how easy that would have been if she was a natural redhead.

Diane Lane...a great example of someone who gets yummier the older she gets. (Of course, I'm getting older, too, so probably has something to do with it!)

Most definitely. There's aren't many 40+ year olds that get me the way she does. And there's also something about her that just screams "Class".

p.s. I noticed Richard posted a Diane photo earlier

A small cultural observation - whilst you guys in the USA think redheads are hot, in the UK generally redheads are considered - um, well, not exactly sexy. E.g. there was a advertising campaign over here that had the slogan 'you can't have everything' [or something like that] showing a family of redheaded adults and kids [incidentally, the campaign was banned after protests]. I remember seeing an interview with an American guy who said that when he first came to London he couldn't believe how easy it was to get dates with redheads because they were generally considered unsexy by other Brits.

Incidentally, I like redheads and thanks for the eye candy, guys.

I think the UK just moved up my list of places to visit.

Perhaps England's view of redheads has to do with being so close to Ireland? I think the US shares somewhat of the same opinion about the fair skinned, freckle faced, skinny/boney Irish female. Nicole Kidman wasn't exactly what I'd consider 'sexy' when she first started out in films. She was cute, but that's about it.

Most of the redheads, that I find sexy, don't exactly fall into that category.

same here!

my entire extended family is in the UK, and when i was talking about a redhead with my cousin who came to visit, he didnt know what i meant, we finally figured it out, he says they call them "gingers" i was surprised he had never heard the term redhead.

Agreed. Will try to fix that later tonight!

And that's interesting about England and redheads. Mark me down for a visit to merry ole London.
