Re: Tribute to Redheads

This week the Mythbusters tackled the myth of a young woman who sat in a tub of hot water wearing her new blue jeans in the hope of shrinking them to make them ultra-tight. According to the myth, her plan worked so well that her circulation was cut off and she died.

So, did the geniuses in charge of the show put Kari Bryon in the tight jeans and stick her in that tub?

Of course not!.

They used Grant Imahara!.

Nothing against Grant, but this was a myth suggested by fans on the website. And I'm pretty sure that most of the fans who suggested that idea wanted Kari to test the myth because they had this image in mind:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Gee... tight jeans. Grant? Kari? Grant? Kari?

I can only assume that the producers are all either blind or gay.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Joe

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Maybe the producers are big fans of Grant's new front teeth. They used to be pretty twisted.

I think they should spin off a new Mythbusters series where everything revolves around Kari getting into some hot outfit to solve the problem.

Only if they want ratings.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

OK you Kari-loving HTF'ers time to put on your thinking caps and conjure up a believable myth involving those who wear Brazilian style thong bikinis.
We then have to hope against hope that they don't use any of the male mythbusters for that segment (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I hadn't noticed. I hope Grant sends the name of his dentist to Deanna at Smash Lab, because she'd be kinda cute if it weren't for those scary-looking Bugs Bunny front teeth. I can't look at her without thinking of The World According to Garp.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Can't believe I'm the first to post a picture of "Deltalina", the pouty-lipped redhead who is helping passengers get into the full upright and locked position in the newest series of Delta Airlines in-flight safety videos. (Real name Katherine Lee, a actual flight attendant who has been with Delta for about 10 years - although never on any of my flights. )

Here's the sample video posted at www.blog.delta.com, for the Boeing 737-700.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Well, if rumors are true about the impending extinction of redheads, this may ultimately become an "in memoriam" thread.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

I think everyone in this thread is willing to do their part to stave that off. Alicia Witt, call me!

Good call H!

I actually remember first seeing Diane on the SVU episode where she was one of three perps charged with raping a guy, and thinking that she was smokin' hot. Then a few seasons later she joined the regular cast as the new ADA

Given the merry-go-round of guest appearances on any L&O show, the fact that I remembered her earlier appearance cements the fact of her hotness, if that makes sense.

Oooo... nice!

I've always had a thing for Rachel, since I first saw her on Alias. But I couldn't recognise her in Charlie Wilson's War, where she played one of his 'angels', just thinking that she looked really familiar, and didn't get it till the credits. Doh!

Oddly, it was partly because in CWW, the fact that she's so tall is obvious, but throughout Alias for some reason or other I never got any impression of her height. Maybe because Garner is also pretty tall, or perhaps because most times her character was seated at a computer?

Turn off your speakers, because the visuals are far, far better than the audio. (The song sucks. The busty redhead...nice eye candy.)

Having just watched Superbad, Emma Stone. Some unavoidable comparisons to Lohan, even down to the voice.

I couldn't decide if Jenna is a redhead or brunette. In the end, does it really matter anyways?

I think men find her very attractive in a sort of "approachable" way. She may not have some exotic supermodel appearance. She's just a very pretty girl who's very talented in a "girl-next-door" manner. But, then, I can't really speak for everyone.

I guess what I'm saying is that guys might think they could actually have a shot with someone like her. Whereas they figure Jessica Alba is really great to look at...but wouldn't even make eye contact in an elevator.

Bottom line...as it is with all things subjective. Some guys like chocolate ice cream. Others like vanilla. I'm sure there's a girl you find attractive that some body else would think, "you're crazy."

I know a lot of people find Brooke Shields to be REALLY attractive. That's one I never got. But I'll defend anyone's right to think so!

I saw Rebecca Romijn on TV the other night, and she definitely fits into one of these categories. I'll leave it to you to decide which.
