Can you plug headphones directly into the Sportster RCA-out jack? This would be a cheaper alternative for work than the boombox.

Thanks

Yes, you can use the line out as a headphone jack very easily and control the volume through the audio output options in the menu.

Yup you sure can and also plug external speakers without having to use a radio. I use it to plug my Yamaha powered multi media speakers and also plug my minidisc recorder to it so I can tape Howard Stern. It's AWESOME!

sounds good, thanks. Now if I can just find one. There is one best buy that is showing one about 30 minutes away. Its kind of screwed up if Howard has incentives in his contract based on subscriptions, but there arent enough units in the stores.

Beware. 9 times out of 10, if Best Buy shows only "1" in stock, it is the floor model and they won't sell that. I'd call first.

Yeah, call first to be sure. The online inventory is never accurate.
