Interesting. I note too that of those ten, only four of them have IMDb grades over 7.5, at least in my age group (over 45). Those are:

1. Incredibles
8. Cinderella
9. Ray
10. Batman Begins

No, I think it is all DVDs. TV just doesn't have the numbers to crack the top ten.

Top 5 TV DVD Sellers

1. Chappelle's Show S2 / Paramount / 2.84 million
2. Lost: The Complete First Season / BV / 1.04 million
3. Seinfeld: Season 4 / Sony / 860,000
4. The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season / Fox / 830,000
5. Friends: The Complete 9th Season / Warner / 790,000

I beleive one of Warner's highest selling DVD's was the "sleeper" of the year, which was The Thin Man box sets! It just goes to show that classics are in high demand!

Glad to see one classic on the list. I just have The Incredibles and Ray (both were excellent 2004 movies!)

Although, it's kind of sad to see two more lousy PDI films right under a masterpiece like The Incredibles. Not trying to be snobby or anything.

The first thing that came to my mind were the claims that the Incredibles DVD underperformed. How much did Finding Nemo sell, in comparison?

Is there a list of the top 20 (or more) DVDs?

LOL, Patrick, I know what you mean about the PDI films.

I only own The Incredibles from the movie list and Seinfeld season 4 and Simpsons season 6 from the TV list.

It was the #12 on the Rentals chart through Christmas Day after being on the market for five days. It was the #3 on the Sales chart through the same period.

Not what I expected to see, either. Madagascar, Shark Tale, Polar Express?! I guess it comes down to personal preference. I only own three of the Top 10 (The Incredibles, SW:RotS, Batman Begins)- and I confess to being over 45, also.

OTOH, I don't know WHAT I expected to see!:b

Also didn't expect Chappelle's Show to outsell Lost, Seinfeld and The Simpsons combined. Sad.
