Sorry to hear everyone is having trouble with the new spoiler tag. I tested it out in IE, Firefox 1.07, Netscape 8.0 and Opera 8.5 and it worked just fine.
That works fine. I like the idea of the button-operated spoilers, though. But, if they don't work universally, I can live with this close-to-the-old-way way.
I personally liked the buttons but several members said that they didn't work with their version of Firefox, Netscape and so forth.

The spoiler is working just fine in that thread. I am not sure what you are seeing. The grey box is just for quoted text. The black box is the spoiler.
Maybe it was just user error by the poster - the grey quote box beginning "he just escaped from some group..." is a spoiler and it looks like the poster meant for it to be blacked out too.
The issue appears to be with the browser and not the code. The button doesn't appear to work in some earlier versions of Firefox and Netscape although it does work ok with the latest versions.
