I'm looking for a couple of players that will literally play everything you throw at them...particularly burned disks. I need one Progressive scan unit for the living room and a cheap one for the home office. Nothing spectacular, but I need optical out on the proressive one.
My current players (both Toshiba - 1 is 2yrs old, 1 is 3 yrs old)are having issues with disks burned at higher speeds. This became a problem after I upgraded the burner in my PC and the lowest speed it will burn DVD+R now is 4x. The older one doesn't like anything burned at over 1x, the newer one doesn't like 4x.
