Does anyone have this/have opinions on it? It seems like a top model, has enough digital optical inputs for my needs, and Amazon.com reviews are good. But I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

What are your goals with the system?
Looks decent enough for a smaller room or if you just don't listen that loud in general.
I have no experience with the product though as I tends to favor the Onkyo similar type systems myself.

Thanks! I just want a good-value-for-the bargain system. I have a medium-sized family room with an HD TV, and need a general system. I'm actually now leaning towards the Yamaha YHT 160, which is significantly less money than this, is almost the same watts output, and has 3 digital optical inputs. I will only need 2, for my TV and the DVD player...I can get the YHT for only $200, which, for this level os system, is, I think, a steal. I could spend $500-$1000 more, but I'm not a total audiophile, and my sense is this will provide enough, good-sounding audio for what I need. Thanks again for your insight.

I agree with you. That is a better choice as it is not much money to get a feel for what HT can offer, if ever decide to upgrade.
Hard to gauge expectations of the less audiophile inclined as these forums are mostly filled with audiophile types.
I expect headroom from 20hz to 20Khz at true reference pay theater type volume levels, when I install this is my goal for every system I install and/or suggest.

Thanks again, that makes me feel alot better! I will post a reply once I have had time to assess it. It's ordered from Amazon, and I should have it next week...can't wait!
