What do the commercials on my favorite channels say about me?

I enjoy XM Comedy 150 (the uncensored one), yet I'm unsettled by the fact that most of the advertising on it is aimed at, well, losers. Get out of debt, beat alcoholism, stop smoking, etc.

Gives me the heebies. Or am I over-reacting?

Are you a smoking alcoholic with a ton of debt? If so you should appreciate their efforts to help you, IMO. If not, well, do you worry you might be "late" every time you see a tampon commercial on TV?

No. When I see a tampon commercial, I worry I may not be as fresh as I could be.

When I see an home pregnancy test commercial, THEN I worry I may be late.

Duh.

Music channels, no commercials. Talk, news, and comedy - commercials.

Those are the same commercials on the sports stations (ESPN/NFL Radio, etc.)

I don't listen to the Talk channels, so the commercials on my favorite channels say nothing to me.
