Help hooking up DVD Recorder

I am trying to hook up my DVD recorder Toshiba D-R2 between my satellite receiver(HD/DVR Dishnetwork) and my Sony HD TV. Anyway, the cable comes from the wall into the Sat receiver, however, the only out the receiver has is component cables, but the only in the recorder has is A/V wires. Is there some sort of adapter I could use to convert component cables to A/V wires?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still looking for help James?

If so what kind of Dish receiver do you have? I believe the 942 is the only HD-DVR Dish offers. If that’s the case, send the component outputs to your HDTV, and the composite outputs to your DVR. Or just use the DVR in the 942.
