For Sale one slightly used METEORITE

Ran across this in the classified section of the SF Chronicle which is one of the stranger things I've seen
(Rommel's Half Track was the other thing I consider as strange as this about 15 years ago)

METEORITE My 10 pound black diamond Meteorite has been drastically reduced! Now $200K. This is the rarest rock in the world! Call Ray, xxx xxx xxxx 4 for picture & story.

If I had an extra 200k lying around I would think of other things to buy but I guess it makes a good conversation piece

"Hey Baby come home with me and check out my metorite????
It's as hard as black Diamond"
(If I was a chick I would be there!)

It's like the ultimate pet rock. (anyone remember those ?)

10 pounds??

That thing would have done a huge amount of damage if it hit a home.

I would worry that spores would come out of it and turn me into a pod person.

I'd have that verified; it's probably silica.

I was wondering how you would know it's real or a scam.

I heard on a history channel program people buy and trsde them but research facilities are the big buyers and I doubt they would spend $200k

Is Joe Dirt selling it?

Maybe they stole it from the Kaaba in Mecca?
