The Angry Nintendo Nerd has a video where he goes back to review all of the Batman movies (including the serials and the inspiration for Batman from a movie called The Bat). Some good stuff.

^ Funny! I have to wonder how similar that really would be to a Michael Bay script.

Instead, what you can expect are the first trailers for Warner Bros.' Terminator Salvation (May 22, 2009), which of course also stars Christian Bale, Zack Snyder's graphic novel adaptation Watchmen (Mar. 6, 2009), and the Ridley Scott-directed thriller Body of Lies (Oct. 10), with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

Ah now I get it. I read it fast and thought he is talking about the second movie and Katie Holmes isn't in it!

Re: Batman Begins' sequel: The Dark Knight (Merged)

For anyone interested, the strange metal noise music you hear in that Prologue is part of the final recorded score for the film. On the soundtrack album it is the first track titled "Why So Serious?" and is the Joker's 'theme', which isn't really a theme (since it's a single note with a lot of noise added) as much as it is a kind of signature.

Mike,
I guess your spoiler has a one of those leaked TwoFace pics.

I was tempted to click on them, but resisted.

I remember being in Las Vegas in the summer of 1996, and the theaters there were playing Independence Day all day long, 24 hours/day. TDK might be the biggest front-loaded film this decade so far

Re: Batman Begins' sequel: The Dark Knight (Merged)

After reading all these stories about how midnight shows have been selling out, I finally went ahead and ordered my tickets through Fandango. I guess paying the service charge is worth knowing that I will have tickets. One of the guys I'm going with has offered to sit in line so this could be turning into an "experience". I've managed to avoid all the reviews and spoilers here in the last few days. I just have to hold out for one more week .

Re: Batman Begins' sequel: The Dark Knight (Merged)

If you are at the theaters this weekend, you can pre-buy your TDK tickets at the ticket kiosks (at least at the AMC and Regal theaters), no need to incur the online purchase fee if you happen to be going to see Hellboy 2 or something else.
