Where is your fav place to buy TVdvd's - Page 2

Thanks for posting the link for price comparisons... I was wondering if I should go to Target or Walmart to purchase W&G S4, and if I can get it for a grand total of $30 at Target, I'll get it there.

Elijah:

We're here (in Coupons & Bargains) every week. Glad you stopped by. Tell your friends.

I'd list Wal-Mart prices...but they vary from store-to-store. Even though they practice regional pricing methods, I can visit 3 or 4 different W-Ms near me and find different prices. Its crazy.

The thing to remember about Wal-Mart is they will ALWAYS price match for you. So, if you take your Target ad into W-M and their price isn't cheaper, W-M will match the Target price...usually right at the register!

EDIT--BTW, I HAD to check out your sig link as I'm a huge St. Elsewhere fan.

Thank you for responding. Since I'm heading off to college this week, I'll be looking for a good place to purchase DVDs online, and your thread will save me a lot of time in the next few months.

Well Costco is by far the cheapest place, but they have a horrible selection. Just yesterday I was there and saw Mad TV Season 1, Jamie Foxx Show Season 1, Night Court Season 1, The Waynes Bros. Season 1 and Murphy Brown Season 1 all for $13.99!WOW! But I make the majority of my purchases at Best Buy, and occasionally at Walmart, Future Shop, HMV or Music World.

Now mostly at Amazon - every preorder so far has arrived on release day, and they have some great prices (especially with Batman Begins DE).

I buy mine from amazon, deep discount and the local used store dvd stop.

Mostly at BestBuy.
Occasionally at Sam's - the big thing with Sam's is: if they have it. If they do, the price can be phenomenal. IE Just saw Shelly Duvall's Faerie Tale Theater Collection at the nearby Sam's - MSRP:89.98. Amazon.com: 49.97. Sam's: 39.98
Then Wal-Mart, Target and even the rare times at MediaPlay (Sam Goody, OnCue, Suncoast and Musicland) which actually can have some pretty good sales if you catch them.
If I can't get the item in any of the above, I order it online at Amazon.com - minimum of 5 items (DVD's, books or CD's) so I can save on the shipping. DeepDiscountDVD - if I'm ordering, I'm ordering some slightly odd stuff and DDD seems a bit too mainstream so I rarely find what I'm looking for. Of course, I may just be looking for the wrong things
Also, I'm a browser. I have a list of things that I plan on getting and an amount that I'm spending. If the two don't match, - hopefully, I have more to spend than to buy - I have a list of DVD's I want as well as browsing to see that's available. Sort of like diving into Wal-Mart's bargain bin.
