I'm desperately trying to track down a problem with my audio but I can't seem to find a solution.
I'm hearing voice distortion during certain parts of all DVD's during times of high volume voice. I thought it was my equipment but now I'm not so sure as I've tested the same spot of Anchorman on multiple sound systems.
If you have Anchorman, and you have a moment, please go to the second chapter of the movie where he's getting ready to jump off the diving board - when he says "I need EVERYBODY, to LISTEN" do you hear a distortion that sort of sounds like your speaker not being able to handle the audio at the time?
It's nothing too major but it happens on a lot of movies, and it happens in the same spots over and over - is it just a flaw in the soundtrack? I have a hard time believing that Hollywood produces movies that have this many audio flaws - it happens in every movie, some more than others.
Anyone else experiencing this? Before I go dump a bunch of money on a new DVD player, etc. - I'd sure love to know if it's just a problem with the movie itself.
Thank you so much!
Best Regards,
Eric
