I've always had a soft spot for Cocoon, a sort of ET for pensioners, and loved James Horners scores for this, Willow and Apollo 13. Cinderella Man doesn't interest me much I'll catch it on cable.

1. Cinderella Man - B+ (Works because the performances are so strong. Howard is always a problematic director)
2. Frost/Nixon - B+
3. Parenthood - B (this might be even funnier now)
4. The Missing - B (I really liked most of this, if it had a better ending it would probably be my favorite of his films)

For those who enjoy Ron Howard's body of work you might want to see the broadcast of The Museum of the Moving Image wonderful tribute to Ron Howard. I saw a taping of it recently and thought it to be one of the better "tributes" I've seen in a very long time.

Out of these, I only own Apollo 13, but I'd buy Willow just because I have (perhaps overly) fond memories of it from my formative years and I want to better hone my Mad Martigan impression. Still, the best thing Howard has ever been involved in was as the narrator for "Arrested Development".
