Alright first off Iam canadian, and have shaw as my cable provider right now. Recently my sister really wants to get a TV recorder when she heard of Tivo, but alas that is not available here. So after some research I found out in canada we have PVR, but that seems very expensive (600$ from shaw, and you still need a digital cable box). Well today I saw in a futureshop add that bell HD satelite has a box with built in PVR for 120$. Now I was just wondering if there would be any sort of similar box (digital cable + PVR that is available for people who have shaw cable. Also note we do not currently have digital cable but will be getting it shortly, thus the desire to obtain a box that will allow for digital cable and also include PVR. Thank you for any help.
