What to do with my old DVD player?

My much loved Panny has died (won't read discs). What should I do with it? Can I sell it for parts? Any advice is welcome, though I don't want to resort to eBay.
Cheers!

I see a trip to Goodwill maybe? Mine may be on its last leg too. Sure not worth a repair bill.

Start a stack in the garage. I've currently got 2 DVP's on the fritz. I've replaced both but am not betting on any increase in longivity which should add to my current stack within two years.
I'm waiting for a sign " Any DVD player repaired -$25.00"
It happened to VHS maybe it will also eventually happen to DVDp's.

Throw it in the trash. If it doesn't work why would you want to unload it on someone else. If you take it to Goodwill, some poor chump is going to buy it and take it home only to find out it doesn't work (you can't test them at the store.

All good things come to an end. Just let it go.
