I'm seeing more and more members who have no registration date. Why is that?

Just passing through: I noticed this in another thread in this section. "Gregory Scott Bass" does not have any member-since info in his posts, as viewed from my end of things.

A lot of members of this forum started out with us when we used UBB as our forum software and several of those members never had a sign up date as the software, at the time, didn't put in sign up dates with membership.

When those members were imported over from UBB to vBulletin this software didn't know what to do with those members and assigned them an arbitrary sign up date of June 1, 1969. So instead of all those members having this sign up of June 1, 1969 I just had this software not put anything in at all.

If a member emailed me and let me know what date he actually signed up I changed it for them. So there are a few people still in the database that will not have any "Member Since" information.

Parker, thanks for noticing. I hadn't realized it'd been that long. I joined back in grad school...ah, the things I did to avoid research
