Home Theater Forum Constructive Criticism

I admit that I do not visit this forum as often as I use to although I have been here off and on from the beginning, but lately when I visit everything seems so cluttered...almost hard to navigate, everywhere you look there are paragraphs and paragraphs of information, perhaps using hover buttons or something like that to make this information appear would be better. I guess I am a minimalist when it comes to web design, I know they need to have there banners and what not for income purposes but I really think this site needs an over haul.....I mean I had to look for one tiny button in order to enter the forum from the main page.....if everyone disagree's then please forgive, this was just meant as a constructive criticism from a long time user. Since Hurricane Charley I've been relegated to dialup at a rental while my home is restored.

Try watching the HTF frontpage load at dialup speed! That is when I get some of the best use out of my HTF equipment!

Eric, I dunno. I'm using dial-up from home (because I get free Internet access), and the site loads quite reasonably. And, of course, when I'm using broadband access, it loads even more quickly.

ok, thanks for not taking offense...I don't pretend to be a great web designer or anything, it just seemed to cluttered and non-intuitive, I want hometheater forum to thrive and be the best. Scott

Are you going through the real frontpage and not shortcutting directly to the forums?

No offense taken. Thanks for the feedback.

Eric -- going through the frontpage stuff. No shortcuts.
