Die Hard 4
DH4 has been in the works since the day after DHWAV hit theaters.

As with "Indiana Jones 4," I'll believe it when I see it (in a theater with popcorn in one hand and Pepsi in the other).

Lemme see, Hans' brothers cousins nephews third wife will be seeking revenge this time out for Hans death!

Actually, IMDB has a little info on it right here

In the most recent issue of Maxim, Bruce Willis is interviewed. Die Hard 4 was brought up and he mentioned it is actually "Die Hard 4.0" and "it's the first on that Fox has liked." That worries me.
Whew! At least Jessica Simpson won't be in it!
I hope this movie gets made. I love all three Die Hard films and would love to see John McClaine kick some terrorist ass one more time.

I wonder if they'll bring Zues back.

"You can stick your well laid plan up your well laid ass"

What a great line.

Die Hard in a retirement home? No, but I'm guessing it will have something to do with his retirement, maybe he's retired to an exotic locale. Foolishly calling it 4.0 is a pretty good indication that they're letting marketing trump a quality story. They should just call it 'Died Finally'.
Well, on Dark Horizons, they have a bit with Bruce, and he does say that he's going to be retired in the next film.

They also have a little bit that Tony Jaa, of Ong-Bak fame, is going to be in the film. Question is, will this be cool, or will it be "Lethal Weapon 4"?

Well I felt Die hard 3 blew away Lethal Weapon 3, so in my mind at least i think it will be better then Lethel Weapon 4.
Why do I get the feeling with the "4.0" it's going to somehow involve terrorist hackers.

Same hear. I loved Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Die Hard in a retirement home?
Maybe it's because I once worked at a retirement home(and hated it), but that sounds like a GREAT idea, whether or not it would be for a DH movie. I always try to think of new things for a "Die Hard in/on/at a *FILL IN THE BLANK*", and never thought about a retirement home. It hasn't already been done, has it?

Anyways, I'll deffinatly go see a DH4 whatever it is. I love those movies.
So lets see, we've got...

Die Hard
Die Harder
Die Hard With a Vengance

and now

Die even Harder than that... lol

Sorry let it go, just let it go.

Almost! It's called "Bubba Ho-tep."

Die Hard: Geriatric Ward

or

Die Hard: Retire Hard
Whether it's good or not, the critics are bound to call it

"Die Already"

Looking forward to it! The other three were the rarest of film series, with each unit being good on its own merits.

If they were really thinking outside of the box, they would have John McClaine team up with Jack Bauer in the next season of 24. Now that would pull in some serious ratings.
Bruce Willis isn't too old to play John McClaine as an action hero. After all, he's played several action roles in comedies in recent years (as bad as The Whole 9 Yards and 10 Yards movies were) and even if he had a stunt man / stand-in, Bruce could still kick ass in another Die Hard sequel.

Age jokes? Nah....Danny Glover played that to death in the Lethal Weapon movies with "I'm getting too old for this shit!" comment. Ironically, Warren Oates said the same thing playing the drill sergeant in Stripes!
Die Hard 4 should be great just like the others have been. Bruce Willis makes these films enjoyable.

Anyone remember Die Hard In A Supermarket from the Ben Stiller Show?
I was always waiting for a Die Hard in an Amusement Park.

Or, perhaps it would be better for a Speed 3 when Keanu's career starts to get in a rut and he needs the money.

That could be a while though. Can't you see Jack and Annie meeting there by chance? She'd probably be there with some stupid little kid she had by Jason Patric's charater, and he'd be working park security after finally being booted by the LAPD. (Or picking up some extra cash during suspension.)

Or Die Hard in a Shopping Mall.

Aaron,
some excerpts from Die Hard 12: Die Hungry...

Bruce/Ben
"Paper or plastic you son of a..."

-----

Terrorist...
"Your coincidental appearance at every terrorist attack on Christmas eve grows tiresome, Mr. Bad booyyy!"

Bruce/Ben...
"I got news for ya pal, that's what the people pay to see."

-----

Powell look-alike...
"He's alone, tired, the food is rotten, the bathroom is locked...and he's runnin out of one liners!"

-----

Terrorist...
"Attention shoppers, for tonight only we will have a special offer, 3 million dollars in Christmas coupons in exchange for your lives!"

Two of my favorite visual images from that sketch are when Bruce/Ben jumps off the roof of the supermarket with a bag of groceries under each arm while cereal and lettuce and all sorts of other shit explodes behind him!

And when he kills that one guy with a box of toothpicks and some drinking straws!

In case your curious, the sketch Aaron and I are talking about appeared on the short lived, but often hilarious FOX series The Ben Stiller Show. It's out on DVD if you want to check it out. This sketch is a work of utter comic brilliance! As is a sketch of The Last of the Mohicans called The Mohican Master 5000 where we learn just how Danial Day Lewis/Ben Stiller got in shape for all that runnin he did in that film.

Anyway, i'm also all for a 4th film, the Die Hard series is among the greatest action films ever made and I would love to see John get one more adventure under his belt.

That was already done. It's called Passenger 57, which is also Die Hard on a plane. But that didn't stop them from making Die Hard on a plane part 2, a.k.a. Air Force One.
I've also been waiting for Air Force One Two.

Or, Air Force Two:

Dick Cheney: You terrorist bastards won't get me to reveal the location of Air Force One by keeping my heart medication from me! I'm going to kick your asses, you...(clutches chest) ARRGGHHHHH!

Die Hard already had the consummate terrorist hacker--Theo! Oh my god, the quarterback is toast!
Actually, to be more accurate, the first terrorist film, that I remember anyway, that takes place primarily in an amusement park was called Rollercoaster with George Segal trying to stop a mad bomber who likes to blow up rollercoasters with passengers on them, it came out in the 70's sometime.

And the first large-scale action film centered on and around a train wasn't really an action film at all, but a comedy. I'm referring, of course, to Silver Streak. The last 15 minuets of that movie are just as exciting as anything in the Die Hard trilogy IMO.
I can see Die Hard in a retirment home

the terorists hold their bran muffins and orange juice hostage, as John races against the clock to find them, so that they can all crap in comfort.
Wow, now that I'd pay to see...

Seriously though, I can't wait to see this. Die Hard is my favorite action movie ever, and 2 wasn't bad, and 3 kicked serious butt, so I'm awaiting this...
That was already done. It's called Passenger 57,

Now that's a movie that cries sequel, Passenger 57A with the movie announcer stating "Sometimes It doesn't pay to have the Window Seat"

Die Hard 4.0 maybe "Too Hard To Die" sounds catchy too me.
War of the world remake, better then DH4?
