Where are the rest of the Crimetime After Primetime shows?..

Does anyone remember the rotating shows that used to air after the local 11pm news on CBS? They were replaced in 93 when David Letterman started. The shows were:

-Forever Knight
-Silk Stalkings
-Dark Justice (A Judge who is a vigilante at night)
-Sweating Bullets (aka Tropical Heat)

I remember watching these shows with my wife and enjoying them. I know we have 2 of the shows. Now how about the other 2.

You left out one of the best of the bunch:

Cannell's "Scene Of The Crime". A great show, in which a static reportory cast acted out a different crime drama each week. An actor who portrayed a good guy one week might be the scum of the earth the next. I'm a total Silk Stalkings fanatic, but this brilliant show was a very worthy runner-up.

If Stephen J Cannell hasn't already received some MAJOR "Lifetime Achievement Award"...isn't it about time?!? The man is a creative genius, IMO. Even most of his "misses" are 100 times better than a lot of what are considered "hits".

Here's another vote for Scene of the Crime and Sweating Bullets. Although not part of the Crimetime After Primetime lineup, add Acapulco H.E.A.T. (guilty pleasure).

According to epguides.com, SotC had only 22 episodes spread over two seasons so it would be easy to release "The Complete Series." http://epguides.com/SceneoftheCrime/

While we're at it, I would love to see a DVD Release of LA Heat (I know it isn't part of the Crimetime After Primetime line-up which ended in August 1994).

But it might be interesting to see Silk Stalkings or Dark Justice on DVD.

I probably forgot it was even out. Horay for the Silk Stalkings fans. I have been focusing on all those great sci-fi titles and other stuff coming to TV DVD.

Wow, this slipped totally under the radar: Tropical Heat: Sweating Bullets Season 1!

I've never heard of this distributor. Maybe that's why it was under-the-radar.

Thanks Keith for the info. Sad that the company cheaped out and crammed all of those episodes on 3 discs. Would an extra disc cost that much more??

DARK JUSTICE was a fun one. I would definitely buy that. Starred the bad guy from TAG: THE ASSASSINATION GAME as the judge.

"Fly by night " was another one. Do you remember "Leg work",and their was another show where a CIA agant is sent to the basement of the building for some kind of job he massed up on. The actor is in his late 40's salt and pepper hair. Sweating Bullets was my favoirte.

The other shows were Night Heat, Fly By Night, Dark Justice. Along with Sweating Bullets, Silk Stalkings and the rest.

I am still waiting for the rest of Silk Stalkings to be released. I like to pick up Hunter, but i am waiting for the price to drop.
