The Haunting

I just purchased a copy of "The Haunting" but found some errors in it.
It says on the cover that the movie is 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen.When i played it on my TV,the movie was displayed in a 1.85:1 format.
Second,i noticed another bug on this dvd.When i get to the end credits,it automatically jumps to another chapter in the movie.

Now go figure...I bought this movie from Future Shop on the internet and it's rated "Region 1".

You guys have an idea why this is happening?

Which version of The Haunting is this? The black+white one?
