Does anyone own some of the japanese editions of WKW movies?
Or is there a good review of the japanese editions somewhere?
Maybe the most interesting are
* "Days of Being Wild", since Christopher Doyle said in an interview recently (link below) that the japanese DVD of that movie is the one to get, since it has the right green colour.
* "Ashes of Time", as the discs from Hong Kong and mainland China are very bad (see the comparison at DVDbeaver). (Though the french double disc edÃtion of Ashes of Time will be released in the beginning of 2005.)
But it would also be nice to know more about the japanese editions of "As Tears Go By", "Happy Togeher", "Chungking express" and "Fallen Angels".
Of course these DVDs does not contain any english subtitles.
