Congrats, The Ted Lee. It reminds me of a special moment in Futurama:

(Bender, Fry and Leela have all been fired)
Zoidberg: Bah! Good riddance to them! Now Zoidberg is the popular one!
Farnsworth: Yes, yes, let's all talk to Zoidberg!
(They all start talking to him)
Zoidberg: Oh, well, you know...

(and if you don't watch Futurama, you don't deserve popularity)

Jack, if I remember correctly you eventually gave A.I. another chance and appreciated it more the second time around.

He's a bigger man than I. I prefer Jack's "beat to death with a fluffy pillow" stance on the film to all that backpeddling.

Did somebody say "fluffy"?

I was thinking Ted should have left this speech.

"My dear Bagginses and Boffins, Tooks and Brandybucks, Grubbs, Chubbs, Hornblowers, Bolgers, Bracegirdles and Proudfoots.

Today is my one hundred and eleventh birthday!

Alas, eleventy-one years is far too short a time to live among such excellent and admirable hobbits. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I, uh, I h-have things to do.

I've put this off for far too long.

I regret to announce — this is The End. I am going now. I bid you all a very fond farewell."

So after all this time, is THE TED still "poplar"?
Gee, Dennis...you beat me to it!

I, too, figured the return of the "The Ted" should indeed bring about the renewal of the thread about his poplar-ity.

Sadly, he has lost the number one spot to a childens' singer. The number two spot links to this very thread.

Why is the esteemed Mr Nicholls resurrecting 5-yr old threads?

The Ted has surfaced after a several year absence.

It...is...alive.

lmao ... i *completely* forgot about this thread.

yes ... i am back ... fear me as never before ... for while i was away i have grown!

into what i have no clue ...

is zen still around???
See?!?  I told you the Ted was back...and better than ever.  Doesn't he look great?!?

Ted:  you better stick around for awhile.  Truthfully, your poplar-ity level was starting to swoon a little bit.  It's tough to maintain when you are only posting once every few years.

We may have to resurrect the Zen Butler "I love Tapatio sauce" thread.

Practice!

I've got a million of 'em!  Folks, I'm here all week.  Try the veal.

======================

Ted:  Go to your personalized home page and click on "Edit Subscriptions."  That should display all your subscribed threads.  I haven't actually seen it happen...I've tried twice but I think I must have a lot of subscribed threads and it takes an awful long time for mine to load.
