Page opening slow

in the last few weeks, probably since the outages, I've had an unusual problem here of very slow page opening. Get the headers, then it seems to be stuck.

Sometimes after 10 seconds or so, I'll press Refesh, and it seems to clear the problem.

I have high speed, and this isn't ocurring on other sites I visit often. Is this a temporary board problem, or is it just me?

For me the site is loading just fine. Try clearing your browswer's cache and see if that helps any.

I still rely on dialup and recently have found the forum index to be inordinately slow to come up and show the list of forums to choose from.

Is there any way to make Home Theater Forum more friendly to dialup users? It never used to be this slow.

Currently I am relying on an auxiliary HTML program to deep link to the forums I frequent.
