Haunted?

There was this show on UPN back in 2002 for only half a season called "Haunted", it starred Matthew Fox(of Lost and Party of Five). I only saw a few episodes but what I saw was good. Do you think with LOST being a big hit, they'll release this on DVD?

I forgot about Haunted. Man that was a cool show. That would be awesome if it came out on DVD

Their are so many good shows that were on UPN that I would love to see released on dvd.

-7 Days
-Special Unit 2
-The Sentinel
-Nowhere Man

Or my personal favorite..(that bombed)..The Strip.

I loved 7 days and SU2 and was pissed when they were canceled. Would buy those if they came out on DVD too.

I hope they release this considering Fox's popularity now thanks to LOST

The enjoyed the few episodes of Haunted...I was really ticked when they pulled it after such a short run.

I LOVED "Haunted". Would buy the set to replace my not-so-nice VHS-to-R copy. But because it was getting even more interesting when the show was axed, I think a set would just refresh that frustration of being left dangling. (The same way I'd feel if my beloved "EZ Streets" was released, though I'd get it immediately.)

As for 7 Days, I know Paramount isn't planning a DVD Release at this time.

North American release is coming from Phase 4 Films.

Now if "Peacemakers", the western crime-drama Rick Ramage went on to co-create afterwards with Larry Carroll for USA, would come to DVD.

Many thanks for posting that Chris! Hopefully this will appear on TVShowsOnDVD very soon. Looking at the release date for the US and Canada it's out two weeks before the third season of Tales from the Darkside on Region 1.

I contacted TVShowsOnDVD earlier this week via their website, about Haunted on DVD. I didn't include a link to this thread or the link above to the Phase 4 Films website page for Haunted, but I let them know that I had read on the HTF forum that it was coming out on DVD. I haven't yet sent the Phase 4 Films website page link to them in case I get told that it's not a genuine release.

Was Haunted shot in fullscreen or widescreen, because it was originally shown in the US in the early 2000s and by then a lot of US shows were being shot in widescreen?

"Haunted" was shot in widescreen, as far as I know.  I recently saw the entire series on Universal HD.  At some point, it also aired on HDNet.

Why I ask, is because in the TVShowsOnDVD news article for this complete series release it says the episodes are presented in fullscreen video.

The same is listed on Phase 4 Films.  You might want to check with TVShowsOnDVD and see what they say about the aspect ratio.
