World of Warcraft - Page 5

Re: World of Warcraft

I played hardcore for over a year and eventually became MT at a nice guild. I still can't believe how fun that was, like being the quarterback for a 40man football team that fights dragons, LOL.

But I had to quit a couple months ago, the expansion completely ruined WoW. Hell, it ruined it months before it even came out because no one wanted to do anything knowing it would be pointless after the exp. came out. Guilds fell apart left and right and when they finally released it all we got was more of the same--only now all the work we put into it before was worthless, and there was 10x more rep grinding in the game.

Who the hell at Blizzard thought it would be a good idea to just put rep grinding anywhere and everywhere they could?

Oh well, the game is truly not fun anymore. I'd give anything to be 60 again, leading my guild into MC and BWL.

(holds back tears)

Now I'm just going to silently wait for Warhammer Online.

Re: World of Warcraft

I've been playing for a little over a year now (on and off) and I'm still hooked. Bought the expansion when it came out, and now my main toon is a Dwarf hunter currently level 66. I never did any of the 40-man raiding pre-expansion so I really can't comment.

Still having fun with it.

Re: World of Warcraft

Anyone still out there that plays this?

I'm currently a MT and 5/5 and 5/9, if you know what that means. Still loving it, but only raiding 2 days a week.

Re: World of Warcraft

Our first attempts at RoS start Sunday. Shouldn't be bad though, Bloodboil only took a couple hours and I've heard he's harder.

EDIT: had said Gorefiend, i meant Gurtogg Bloodboil.

Re: World of Warcraft

gorefiend kicked our butt last night. 14 attempts. we got him to 4% 1 attempt, but mostly we get him to 33% before constructs screw us

Re: World of Warcraft

For Gorefiend we make everyone use two macros. Half the people have some crazy UI they have made and therefore the correct commands don't even pop up for them. We make everyone have a macro for chains and a mouseover macro for lance. That's it. The lance is a 30% stacking slow, stacks three times. If people use the volley and chains again, it removes the slow, and they are then running at full speed after it.
