Please help with the spacing in my post (Admins especially)

I tried to put a table in using an Excel table which I converted to HTML and cleaned up w/ Dreamweaver in this Halo 2 clan post.

However there is a huge amount of space the words of the post and the table and I can't figure out why. In fact any time I try to use a table it puts a huge space in there.

Can anyone help me to figure out what I did wrong?

Okay, I've looked at the PAGE SOURCE, and I see that there's a bunch of < br > and < /br > [I have to put those spaces otherwise it just acts as a break] around my table rows, but when i do "ed it post" I can't see them to delete them. Is this some buggy sort of thing that the new forum software is doing?
