Angeon.com?

Thread Starter
Lately, when I enter HTF, I am prompted to sign in to Angeon.com with one of those windows password boxes. Needless to say, I don't know what this is, so I hit Cancel, it goes away, everything seems OK. Still, this is pretty strange. And it's not just me, because there's been some discussion in Testy. So what is this? Malware? A new and particularly bizarre advertising ploy?

Thanks for replying.

Yeah, it happened to me too.

Gentlemen,

I'll make sure that Parker is aware of this
problem.

All I can do is assure all of you that it is
currently our policy not to involve any sort of
advertising that involves pop-up windows or logins.

At this point, until further investigation, I am
going to presume your similar problems are coincidental
and nothing coming directly from our end.

I promise I will talk to Parker about this just
in case.

Seen it too!

Thought it was some weird blocker at work, for which we have now. Thought I violated something while trying to view that testy thread that Christopher mentions. I can rarely view many of the pages of that thread but it happened in Movies too!

Happened to me twice. I wasn't sure where it was coming from.

There is nothing that I am aware of that would put that up on the pages.

Let me know if it continues.

It's not a big deal. I went to the "Testy" thread in the Testing forum, page 298. Someone posted a direct link to an image using the img tag, and it's in a password-protected directory on their server. That's all.

I didn't take the time to look up who it was.
