hey all -

i've noticed that my inbox says (4), but in the main area it says something about "there are no messages for this time period" (or something like that...)

is that normal? just curious...

thanks!

c'mon theted. what are you a rookie? It's controlled much like the forums. Use the drop down box and pick the appropriate time period(lat 10 days, last 30 days etc.) I find it annoying, I just may notify managment.

ack! uhh....can a mod please delete this before i cause any more embarassment to myself?

however, i will say this. i set the drop down to the beginning and it only shows about 5 or so? i'm pretty sure i've had more then 5. bah, no biggie either way!

My biggest problem with the private messages area is that I can have new messages and they quickly dissappear from the current view..

That having been said, a bigger problem is the alert email. The alert email reads out something like:

You have private mail, click here

(link).

The (.) becomes a part of the link, and thus, the link is dead, you have to go back and manually edit the link so it gets you to where you are going. Annoying. If that extra (.) was gone, it would work

The link always works for me. What email program do you use?

Chris:

I took out the period at the end of the link. I hope this helps some.
